We reached out to West End window for a repair of our front door and work on two windows. In the end we decided to replace them and we are very happy with the result. At the beginning of the project, they were very good at answering our questions and advising on the different types of windows and what would be best for our project. They came prepared, completed all the installations in one day and did a good clean up afterward. The result is really nice and we’re particularly happy with our front door, with a well done paint customization (they left a small container of the paint for touch ups) and a window that opens to create a cross breeze.

We recently had West End Windows and doors replace the majority of the windows in our home. We were very happy with all aspects of the process, what really impressed us was the extra effort made to measure and find the largest possible windows that would work for our home. Their extra visits to double and triple check measurements allowed us to put egress windows in the basement which was amazing because we always thought we would have to excavate and extend the opening for that to be the case. The install was set up relatively quickly, and done over the course of one day. Very happy and would recommend to others.

They installed my patio door last week and I am very happy of their work. The door has been well installed with the new trims. A special shout-out to Mohammad, the installer. I was not there during the installation and they found the wood frame underneath was all eaten by carpenter ants. He called me an informed me of the situation and vacuumed all the ants. Really appreciated of the nice work and service they have done! Nice experience as a whole!

I’m very impressed by west end windows and doors, I had ten patio doors and two windows replaced in my water property home in Manotick Ontario.after shopping around for over a month because there are so many window and door companies and doing repetitive comparisons between ten different companies I found west end to be the best priced and really good quality product for the price offered, they also had modern design built- in foot locks and more appropriate slip low profile modern door handles compared to to the huge ugly half crescent door handles that everyone else offered, their 25 year warranty is also a comfort. In addition I liked the fact that they are manufactured in Canada. Euvgeny the owner gave me an exact date and they came exactly on that date no delays no excuses, three vans, an experienced team that had the whole project done in two days, they installed the doors and something unexpected is the inside and outside step plates which finish the doors beautifully, they guide water away from the doors and preserve the wood on the balconies, they cleaned up nicely, put new mouldings everywhere and left the place nice and clean The house is far better insulated now and the A/C doesn’t struggle to keep the house cool as it did with the old doors and windows. They definitely deserve a five star rating GS

The crew did an excellent job of replacing my windows. I was very pleased with their attention to setting aside any items that could be damaged. They were very tidy and did the fine work of touch up paint to trim work that was removed and replaced. I highly recommend the excellent work.

On the day of quotation, they were efficient and professional, and did not waste any of our times - they did not try to oversell their products. Their pricing ended up being the most competitive. Installation was on time and went very well. The windows appear to be of high quality. I communicated with Kendall via email throughout the process and always received answers within a timely manner. From sales to install and even post install the experience has been amazing. The entire team has been more than accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. They were the best from a price stand point but also worked on giving me more options to bring the price point down even further. There are lots of window installation companies. I collected quotes from most of the window installers in Nepean. I went with Westend. Their pricing was competitive given the higher performance statistics for the windows. With windows, installation matters a lot. The team was professional, fast and clean.

Very impressed with Westend Windows & Doors. I had concerns with our sliding patio door and asked them for a quote to replace it. They were very quick to respond to my request and arranged for a free onsite assessment. They arrived exactly at the time they said they would. Misha was great, he inspected our sliding patio door and didn’t try to upsell us on a new door. He explained that the current door was in good condition and only needed a few replacement parts and adjustments. He even explained how we could do the work. Later that day Misha even followed up by email with links to where we could buy the replacement parts and some recommendations of people who could perform the repair work. Truly above and beyond our expectations and we will definitely keep Westend Windows & Doors on our contractor list if/when we look to do any future window/door replacements.

He came out quickly to measure and order the windows, and his crew installed them about a month later. They were hard working and showed great skill and professionalism, and the pricing was very competitive. Our experience with Westend Windows & Doors was completely positive. We were in an urgent situation when our patio door broke and was jammed halfway open. Honestly, we called a couple of companies and even though we described our problem, they could not get to us for more than 2 weeks and some 4-6 weeks. No-one wants their house insecure with the inability to use your security alarm or keep the rain out. I called Westend and they immediately understood the problem and Misha came out same day. The plan was to replace the door the very next day. Jason and a colleague arrived early the next morning and did a great job replacing the door. They were friendly and professional and Jason was very informative all along. Great job, beautiful door and it was priced reasonably, below other estimates we received. Top notch quality of doors and service by Westend! I chose based on their Google reviews, and was not disappointed. Mischa came, measured & helped me choose 2 new doors, custom made in Toronto. Less than 8 weeks later, Jason & his crew installed these gorgeous Iron Ore doors, complete with new trim, my locks and doorbell. Attention to detail was 100% in my century home (not an easy task). Doors work exceptionally well and the lock works so smoothly. Extremely impressed!

They replaced 2 of my old windows, the 2 that I needed most to be replaced. Excellent service and advice from the Westend sales team. Excellent price on the new windows. The installers did a great job and the new windows and the new trim and flashing all look amazing. I will be getting Westend back soon to do more of my old windows.

Edit: changing 2 to 5 stars as they did fix the issue after my initial review. Perhaps our case fell through the cracks but an employee from the manufacturer was sent out to our house from out of town and he fixed all the issues. He also left us some paint to fix minor scratches that happen over time and have us a few spare handles and parts in case anything breaks. Overall, we are very happy with our windows as they modernized the look of our home that was built in the 60's. We paid them to change all of the windows in our home 2 years ago. Half the handles they installed are the wrong color and the other half were never installed with screws so they come off. My daughter's room window has no handle at all. My husband has been following up with them/ dealing with them for the last 2 years and asked me to wait to do a review but this is ridiculous. It's one thing to have to wait months for windows to be installed but for fixes like this? Unacceptable.

From quote to installation I rate this company 5 stars. I contacted several companies mid July regarding an entry door. This is the only company that provided both a reasonable time frame and price. One of the other companies didn’t even come out do an an estimate but told me over the phone it would be 6 months before installation. The door arrived right on schedule as promised and was installed within 2 business days of letting me know it was ready. The installers arrived right on time as indicated and were quick and efficient completing the job. Each I contacted the company, Evgueni was very timely in responding both via email and telephone. We had a large job of 8 new window replacements. 6 of the 8 windows were quite large, around the whole house. The company showed up for the work with very hard-working and skilled installers. It took 3 days to complete the work - from removal, to installation and completion of flashing and capping around the new window frames. Had a fantastic experience with West End Windows and Doors. Have a new house, but unfortunately the builder screwed up the patio door and one of the windows. The sales person was extremely knowledgeable, professional and overall provided amazing service along with a very competitive quote. Installation team arrived on time, did a great a job, was very efficient and delivered great results. The product installed is at a completely different level from what we had before, its now even quieter inside our kitchen, the door and window are smooth in operation and the patio door comes with a little leg operated lock as a cherry on top :)

Last week their team of 5 guys did a phenomenal job of installing my new door.They worked together like clockwork to get the new one in, take away the debris, Do a bit of patching, trim the window and even clean it. Not only was the price more than competitive, the attention to detail, from first measurement, right through to caulking the installed products, it was all performed very very well. I was nervous the exterior stucco may get damaged during the window replacement…the team assured me all would be good and, guess what? All was good. Had a fantastic experience with Westend Windows and Doors. I was looking to make improvements to our house through thr Greener Homes Loan, and had Evgueni come and quote some Windows and Doors. He did a few variations based on our changing scope and was always quick, helpful and pleasant (even after the 4th time lol). We ordered mid February and installed beginning of June. Custom front door, custom patio door, large 10x6' window, and some basement casement Windows. The crew showed up on schedule and worked through to finish the whole job in a day. They even added new trim inside as well. We were impressed. The pricing was super competitive and I would happily recommend. No incentive for this review, I was just impressed.

Having decided to install new windows and a new front door we looked for a firm which would give satisfactory results. We had previously had a bay window installed where everything seemed to go wrong. We didn’t want to repeat the experience. We searched the internet for local suppliers and selected two local firms asking them to provide quotes. The reviews for West End Windows impressed us so selected them as one of two firms. The salesperson from West End , Evgueni, was very polite and quickly measured up the windows and door. West End’s quote was lower than their competition. Initially we thought that this was because they were offering an inferior product. We arranged to view products of both companies. We met Evqueni who showed us the products they used. They did not, however, have a door of the design we had seen elsewhere he said they would custom build one for us. We expected the price to increase beyond our means but the cost was still very reasonable. We provided a list of questions we wanted answered prior to placing our order and all the answers met our requirements. The order was produced within the time stated by West End Windows. The installers arrived on time and were quick and efficient with the installation, which ended up taking just one day rather than two days we had expected. We periodically checked progress during the day and every assistance was provided by the five installers who worked in an orderly manner, cleaning up as they went. All questions were answered, and all the crew were very polite and helpful. We were delighted with both the product and the workmanship and helpful attitude of all the workers. Our hopes and expectations were more than met. The finish to the work was excellent and the front door has transformed our home. We would recommend West End Windows to anyone who is looking for a superior product and workmanship, and an experience free from any trauma, giving good value for money. Update: A little warning for those who are thinking of getting mini blinds(i.e. blind inside the glass) - door manufacturers add some coating on the inside of the glass to protect the mini blinds from sunlight. This coating gives the glass hazy look under direct sunlight. This doesn't look very nice in my opinion. So there is a trade off to be made here. If I had to do it all over again I would not get the mini blinds. Also adding the mini blind feature limits the max glass size to 22 in. Another reason to skip them if you need a bigger glass. Got a custom, super wide, door installed from westend. Evgueni (sales) pleasant to deal with and very responsive. Installers great attention to detail and work together great. On top of all that price is very good compared to competitors. Wish I could attach the before and after for my door. Big change to my place.

Very satisfied with my experience. We had Evgueni come to quote 10 windows and 2 doors - expected a big hit to the wallet but we were quite satisfied with their proposal. In spite of the supply chain challenges created by the on-going pandemic, the windows were installed fairly quickly thereafter. The installers were punctual and respectful. The KV brand windows and doors that they use appear to be excellent quality. One window arrived in the incorrect size but Renaud immediately took steps to fix it. These things happen - what's important is that they didn't hesitate to make it right. We have recommended them to a few friends who have also had good experiences. We will use them again in the future.

Renaud was fantastic to deal with. I felt comfortable instantly. Two guy's came in to install and were professional and efficient. Cleaned up after themselves as well. I called Renaud a few hour's after instalation with a few concerns. Instantly he sent someone over to adress our concern. It was really just us not knowing. The man was so helpful regardless and didn't mind explaining or the unnec trip over. Great company and highly recommend! Nice to see there are still honest hardworking people out there.

I had my front door and kitchen window replaced. Honestly, I do not know where to start everything was top notch! From the sales to the installation. It did take much longer than I would have hoped, but the quality and customer service was amazing. Highly recommend.

Renaud and his team at Westend Windows and Doors Ottawa were excellent. Renaud came out to measure and was very thorough at our first meeting. He needed to come back as we wanted more windows measured out - he came out no problem. He was honest. We were given a heads up on when the installation would take place by getting a call ahead of time to arrange the date. On installation day, the crew of guys showed up on time. The installation was done that day and the crew cleaned up all the debris from the old windows. We were missing a couple of things like an extended door plate but this arrived not long after installation and the caulking outside was completed. This winter we have been so pleased with the windows and doors. The front door is well sealed and all the cold air that used to come into the house is staying out.

I recently had a rear door installed on my garage, and was very pleased with the installers. They were polite, efficient, and made sure the area was clean before they left. When I noted a small alignment issue with the door in its frame a few days later, Westend was quick to schedule an appointment and adjust the door. Overall, I would strongly recommend Westend.

Sales, quality, pricing, timing, and installation all were excellent! Renaud was very knowledgeable about the windows in our home (original from 1962). He took the extra precaution to have the installer come by after our initial quote to ensure the work could be done the way he had told us - without damaging our walls. They did the job (13 windows plus a front door) over 2 days. The installers were polite, efficient, and professional. Best of all, it was only 4 weeks from payment to INSTALLATION! They look amazing, and they even put in a door handle we purchased on our own. They went beyond my expectations for cleanup in and around the home. One installer even raked up some of the debris. We are very, very happy.

Excellent service, starting with the quote from Renaud to the installation. Great pricing, and timely installation. Another company said they would be available in September, 4 weeks after the quote, my windows were installed by West End Windows. The windows are made in Ontario, and are great quality. Renaud explained to me my options for what type of windows should be installed, and how they would be done. The installation team did a wonderful job, letting me ask questions during the installation and explained every answer in detail. They worked hard all day and the finish was top notch, they make sure to clean up any mess they make, was very impressed. Will be calling them again next year!!

We used West End Windows and Doors this past summer to have a new door/frontage and side window installed (through a brick wall). The sales process was extremely smooth, and installation, for both the door and the window, was completed in one day. The two-man crew worked tirelessly in 40C and did a real professional job. Westend Windows and Doors replaced our front door and installed a brand new window. They worked carefully and quickly. In fact, all the work was done in a single day, including the added task of putting a hole through our brick wall to create a space for the new window. They cleaned the work space as soon as they were finished. Despite the fact that our house was built in the 1940s, the new window looks seamless. There were ample doors to choose from and we had no trouble finding something to suit our space. We are very impressed with the new look of our front entryway and have received many compliments from neighbours. We definitely recommend this company.
